The wine
Il 2018 è un assemblaggio dominato dal Cabernet Sauvignon, affinato per metà in barrique nuove di rovere francese. Wine Spectator indica la finestra ideale tra il 2024 e il 2038.
Tasting notes
Corpo pieno con frutto di cassis, ciliegia e mirtillo, spezie (chiodi di garofano, pepe del Sichuan, anice), matita, cedro e violetta; tannini finissimi e finale di liquirizia e catrame.

Château Cos d'Estournel è un Deuxième Cru Classé 1855 di Saint-Estèphe, al confine con Pauillac. La tenuta ha circa 100 ettari sulla collina di Cos, con vigne di età media attorno ai 40 anni e alcuni Merlot centenari.
